Lincolnville girls basketball tops Searsport in quarterfinals

LINCOLNVILLE — The third-seeded Lincolnville and sixth-seeded Searsport middle school girls basketball teams met on the court in Lincolnville for a Busline League small school quarterfinal playoff contest Tuesday, Jan. 21. 

Lincolnville possessed quarterly advantages of 23-2, 31-9 and 49-18 en route to a 55-26 victory. 

Scoring for Lincolnville were Natalie Bolduc (20 points), Roo Boetsch (12), Jaden Johnson (10), Angel Haynes (seven), Chloe Day-Lynch (two), Lucy O'Brien (two) and Grace Moody (two).

Scoring for Searsport were E. Mello (11 points), B. Bagley (nine), K. Evans (two), K. Smith (two) and J. Stone (one). First names were not available. 

With the win, Lincolnville advances to the semifinals. The Lynx will play either second-seeded Vinalhaven or seventh-seeded Islesboro.
