(Photo courtesy Lincoln Street Center for the Arts)Lincoln Street Center artists will be opening their studios to the public on Saturday, June 13, from 1 - 5 p.m., at 24 Lincoln Street, Rockland, for their first open studios of the year.
The public is invited to come visit and explore Rockland’s Historic High School, home to more than 40 studio spaces and one of the nation’s oldest theaters, according to Lincoln Street Center for the Arts, in a news release.
This event if free and open to all. Get a peek into a working artist’s studio, learn about different mediums and view their artwork.
Participating studios will include: Susan Beebe (paintings), Gianna Bird (watercolor) Gary Briechle (photography & painting), Katherine Ferrier (quilting & fiber), Amy Wilder Files (encaustic), Kathleen Florance (paintings), Ameila MacDougall-Fleming (rug hooking), Nina Poole (multidisciplinary), Sarah Szwajkos (photography), Laura Waller (oil paintings), as well as guest vendors Ethereal Roots, Slightly Twisted, and Sweet Beetle Jewelry.
Parking is available behind the building; accessible entrance is located on the side entrance (south side, basement level).
