ROCKLAND — The following cases were closed in Knox County Criminal Court from Jan. 11-15. The Unified Criminal Court is a system for processing criminal actions and certain associated civil violation actions. It is expected to increase efficiency by eliminating the duplicative clerical workload created by the current system of case transfer between the District and Superior Court by reducing the number of court appearances required to process individual cases, according to the State of Maine Judicial Branch.

Damir Augusta, 18, of Waldoboro, possession of marijuana, up to 1 ¼ ounce, dismissed; use of drug paraphernalia, $300 fine.

James Batty III, 28, of Nobleboro, failing to make oral or written accident report, $250 fine.

Matthew Bean, 32, of Warren, operating while license suspended or revoked, prior, $500 fine.

Chad W. Benner, 31, of Friendship, untagged lobster traps, Chapter 25, $500 fine.

Thomas J. Boynton, operating while license suspended or revoked-operating under the influence, $600 fine, seven days in jail; violating condition of release, 48 hours in jail.

Ryan James Cardilli, 18, of Warren, failing to extinguish fire, dismissed.

Carl Chipman, 22, of Thomaston, attaching false plates, $150 fine.

Heather Derivera, 31, of Rockland, unlawful possession of scheduled drug, two counts, dismissed.

Steven N. Dodd, 50, of Thomaston, displaying fictitious vehicle certificate, $150 fine; attaching false plates, $150 fine.

Robert H. Doucette, 62, of Union, violating dyed fuel prohibition, $1600 in fines.

Andrew J. Elwell, 21, of St. George, use of drug paraphernalia, $300 fine; possession of marijuana, up to 1 ¼ ounce, $350 fine.

Shayne Elwell, 28, of Rockland, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, $69.62 restitution.

George J. Fetchen IV, 29, of Rockland, disorderly conduct, fighting, $250 fine.

David L. Fish, 22, of Appleton, operating while license suspended or revoked-operating under the influence, $600 fine, seven days in jail, license suspended one year; operating while license suspended or revoked, dismissed; failing to give correct name, address or date of birth, 48 hours in jail; theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, seven days in jail, $147.69 restitution; violating condition of release, seven days in jail.

Vicki L. Gower, 54, of Thomaston, failure to register vehicle, $150 fine; attaching false plates, dismissed.

Pheonix Jack Henry Grannis, 49, of Camden, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, dismissed.

Devin T. Haskell, 29, of North Haven, failing to notify of motor vehicle accident, $250 fine, $337 restitution; driving to endanger, dismissed; failing to make oral or written accident report, dismissed.

Florence V. Hayward, 68, of Bellmore, N.Y., failing to notify of motor vehicle accident, $250 fine, operating under the influence (alcohol), $750 fine, license suspended 150 days.

Timothy J. Jackson, 30, of Thomaston, operating while license suspended or revoked, $250 fine.

Alicia R. Johnston, 21, of Thomaston, failure to register motor vehicle, $150 fine.
