Knox County Criminal Docket closed cases
ROCKLAND — The following cases were closed in Knox County Criminal Court from Jan. 11-15. The Unified Criminal Court is a system for processing criminal actions and certain associated civil violation actions. It is expected to increase efficiency by eliminating the duplicative clerical workload created by the current system of case transfer between the District and Superior Court by reducing the number of court appearances required to process individual cases, according to the State of Maine Judicial Branch.

Thomas J. Boynton, operating while license suspended or revoked-operating under the influence, $600 fine, seven days in jail; violating condition of release, 48 hours in jail.

Carl Chipman, 22, of Thomaston, attaching false plates, $150 fine.

Steven N. Dodd, 50, of Thomaston, displaying fictitious vehicle certificate, $150 fine; attaching false plates, $150 fine.
Robert H. Doucette, 62, of Union, violating dyed fuel prohibition, $1600 in fines.
Andrew J. Elwell, 21, of St. George, use of drug paraphernalia, $300 fine; possession of marijuana, up to 1 ¼ ounce, $350 fine.
Shayne Elwell, 28, of Rockland, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, $69.62 restitution.
George J. Fetchen IV, 29, of Rockland, disorderly conduct, fighting, $250 fine.
David L. Fish, 22, of Appleton, operating while license suspended or revoked-operating under the influence, $600 fine, seven days in jail, license suspended one year; operating while license suspended or revoked, dismissed; failing to give correct name, address or date of birth, 48 hours in jail; theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, seven days in jail, $147.69 restitution; violating condition of release, seven days in jail.
