ROCKLAND — The following cases were closed in Knox County Criminal Court from Nov. 23-Dec. 4. The Unified Criminal Court is a new system for processing criminal actions and certain associated civil violation actions. It is expected to increase efficiency by eliminating the duplicative clerical workload created by the current system of case transfer between the District and Superior Court by reducing the number of court appearances required to process individual cases, according to the State of Maine Judicial Branch.

Edward G. Anderson, 68, of New York, N.Y. operating under the influence, $500 fine, seven days in jail, license suspended 150 days.

Michael P. Beal, 43, of Warren, unlawful possession of scheduled drug, dismissed; unlawful possession of scheduled drug, $400 fine; driving to endanger, $575 fine, license suspended 30 days.

Damian A. Bucklin, 30, of Belfast, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, priors, dismissed; theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, 364 days in jail with all but 14 days suspended, probation one year.

Zachary T. Carleton, 27, of Rockport, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, 48 hours in jail, $32.80 restitution; violating condition of release, 48 hours in jail.

Leonard Dow, 40, of Scarborough, operating while license suspended or revoked, $250 fine, 15 days in jail; operating under the influence, causing injury or death, priors, dismissed; operating vehicle without license with conditions and restrictions, 45 days in jail.

Rodney R. Genthner, 30, of Friendship, motor vehicle speeding 30 plus miles over the speed limit, $400 fine.

Jason L. Hewett Goucher, 30, of Warren, trafficking in prison contraband, six months in jail; unlawful possession of scheduled drug, dismissed.

Stacy Wall Grierson, 43, of Warren, commercial shell fishing without a license, first offense, $326 fine.

Christopher M. Kimball, 33, of Rockport, burning without a permit, $100 fine.

Ronald J. Moulton, 49, of Cushing, commercial shell fishing without a license, first offense, $316 fine.

Nicholas Pease, 20, of Warren, minor possessing liquor, $200 fine.

Christina Rackliff, 33, of Rockland, violating condition of release, 48 hours in jail.

Arjun Ramprasad, 32, of Philadelphia, Pa., operating under the influence, $750 fine license suspended 150 days.

Priscilla A. Robinson, 26, of Warren, operating under the influence, $1000 fine, 72 hours in jail, license suspended 150 days.

Karen Spear, 58, of Rockland, operating vehicle without a license, $150 fine.

Celena D. Widdecomb, 63, of Rockport, cultivating marijuana, $750 fine.

Randy Withee, 37, of Rockland, commercial shell fishing without a license, second offense, $316 fine.
