ROCKLAND — The following cases were closed in Knox County Criminal Court from Nov. 16-20. The Unified Criminal Court is a new system for processing criminal actions and certain associated civil violation actions. It is expected to increase efficiency by eliminating the duplicative clerical workload created by the current system of case transfer between the District and Superior Court by reducing the number of court appearances required to process individual cases, according to the State of Maine Judicial Branch.

Peter J. Beaster, 51, of Warren, operating vehicle without safety equipment, $100 fine.

Allen W. Boody, 30, of Rockland, domestic violence assault, three counts, 334 days in prison, probation revoked; operating vehicle without license, dismissed; operating under the influence, no test, one prior, $900 fine, 12 days in jail, license suspended three years; operating while license  suspended or revoked, $500 fine; theft by unauthorized use of property, six months in jail; criminal mischief, six months in jail, obstructing reporting of a crime, six months in jail.

Brian R. Burch, 22, of Rockland, violating condition of release, 30 days in jail; unlawful possession of scheduled drug $400 fine, 30 days in jail.

Rene R. Caguna, 23, of Waldoboro, operating without a license, $200 fine.

Kenneth J. Corson, 43, of Rockport, operating vehicle without a license, $250 fine.

Krysti Hallett, 32, of Rockland, fishing for or taking shellfish from closed area, $500 fine.

Darleen Harwood, 50, of Vinalhaven, operating under the influence, dismissed; failure to register motor vehicle, $150 fine; driving to endanger, $575 fine, license suspended 30 days.

Katina N. Kaler, 37, of South Thomaston, unlawful possession of scheduled drug, $400 fine, 10 days in jail.

Philip Libby Jr., 49, of Waldoboro, fishing for or taking shellfish from closed area, $300 fine.

Corey B. Moholland, 47, of Rockport, operating vehicle without license, conditions and restrictions, seven days in jail.

Jason Ouellette, 36, of Hampden, domestic violence assault, 90 days in jail; violating protection from abuse order, two counts, 90 days in jail; violating condition of release, 90 days in jail.

Brian K. Parks, 49, of Augusta, operating vehicle without a license, $250 fine.

Gregory Rogerson, 34, of Camden, disorderly conduct, loud unreasonable noise, $500 fine.

Frank E. Roscoe, 54, of Thomaston, operating under the influence, dismissed; driving to endanger, $575 fine, license suspended 30 days.

Randy B. Smith, 65, of Camden, violating condition of release, 75 days in jail; failure to appear after bailed, two counts, 75 days in jail.

Andrea M. Walsh, 44, of Swanville, violating condition of release, two counts, 30 days in jail.

Walter M. Wooster, Jr., 48, of Rockland, cultivating marijuana, $400 fine.
