SOUTH THOMASTON — John A. Woodman, 65, died unexpectedly this past weekend (June 1-2, 2013).

At the family's request, services will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Pope Memorial Humane Society of Knox County, P.O. Box 1294, Rockland, ME 04841, as John was an avid dog lover.
