    FAIRFAX, Va. — Jean M. MacFarland, 87, formerly of Tenants Harbor, died Nov. 17, 2013, at a Fairfax health care facility after an extended illness. A memorial service will be announced in the spring of 2014.

    Arrangements are in the care of Burpee, Carpenter & Hutchins Funeral Home in Rockland.
