ROCKLAND — Frederick G. Mank, 69, at peace in the arms of the Lord, died Oct. 7, 2013, at Pen Bay Medical Center in Rockport.

Born in Warren Jan. 29, 1944, he was the son of Vernon A. and Kathleen Bernice Simon Mank. Fred was a 1962 graduate of Warren High School.

Fred is survived by his sister, Donna and her husband, Charles O. Rogers, of Matinicus; his brother, Gordon Mank and his wife, Sandi, of Rockport; three sons, Fred Mank Jr. of Waldoboro, Tony Mank of Chandler, Ariz., and Jason Mank of Thomasville, Ga.; several grandchildren, many nieces, and nephews and his friend of many years, David Achorn of Rockland.

His passing will leave a vacancy in the hearts of those who loved him.

A private interment will be held at a later date.
