BELFAST — Esther (Moody) Floyd passed away March 10, 2014. She was born Nov. 13, 1939, the daughter of Florian and Lillian (Coffin) Moody.

She is survived by two daughters, Michelle Quin and her husband, Anthony Quin, of Belfast and Angela Noyes and her fiancé, Chad Harriman, of Liberty. She was predeceased by her loving husband, George Floyd; one sister; and five brothers.

She was raised by her sister and brother-in-law, Roy and Edna Young. She has two special nieces and three special nephews that she grew up with as brothers and sisters. She has eight grandchildren that she loved with all her heart and four great-grandsons, as well as many nieces and nephews.

She lived in California, Searsport and Brooks before going to Woodlands in Brewer.

There will be a celebration of her life Friday, March 21, at 6 p.m. at the Redmen Hall in Belfast. In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted to help the family with her final arrangements . Please come and enjoy.
