Downeast Scenic Railroad holds annual Pumpkin Trains, Oct. 18, 19
ELLSWORTH — Downeast Scenic Railroad will hold its annual Pumpkin Trains on Saturday, October 18, and Sunday, October 19.
Families and friends are invited to enjoy a festive autumn adventure aboard vintage railcars, complete with a stop at a pumpkin patch, seasonal treats, and scenic views of Maine’s beautiful fall foliage.
"Families can get off the train and choose a pumpkin for the children, creating lasting memories with loved ones in a safe and family-friendly environment," said the railroad. "Each train ride offers a unique, hands-on experience to remember."
“The Pumpkin Trains are one of our favorite events of the year,” said Tom Testa, director of Downeast Scenic Railroad. “It’s a wonderful opportunity for families to celebrate the season, enjoy Maine’s peak fall colors, and enjoy time together.”
