Disturbance at Lincolnville Beach leads to two arrests
LINCOLNVILLE — A reported disturbance at Lincolnville Town Beach, along Route 1, resulted in the arrests of two out-of-state people on Sept. 1.
Nathan Mohrman, 35, of Dover, Del., and Michael Mitchell, 27, of Gresham, Ore., were both charged with disorderly conduct and criminal mischief.
Waldo County Sheriff’s Sgt. James Greeley and Deputy Andrew Mulligan responded to the call and learned that two allegedly intoxicated men had been fighting each other. During the course of the altercation, property belonging to a local business was damaged, according to a media release.
The men are reportedly transients and had been planning to spend the night on the deck of the damaged business, which was currently operating.
Neither man was cooperative with law enforcement and continued to be disruptive, resulting in their arrests.
Both men were transported to Waldo County Jail.
