Devil’s Pride Motorcycle Club give boost to Christmas is for Kids Campaign

Fri, 12/11/2020 - 6:15pm

This week, members of the Devil’s Pride Motorcycle Club, along with several of their loyal supporters, spent their evening shopping for Christmas presents to support the Christmas is for Kids Campaign.

The Club got the idea less than two weeks ago from another motorcycle club, the GunRunners MC, whose members are supporting this toy drive for the second year in a row.  The Club has also received support from the community with many donations from friends both near and far.

The CIFK program serves three counties in Maine, Knox being one of the three.

The toy drive is helping make Christmas special this year for more than 1,000 children in Maine, with almost 200 being from Knox County.

The two clubs are hoping their support will allow the program to help every child on the active list, and perhaps meet the additional needs of those families currently on a “wait list”.

The Devil’s Pride MC started meeting this fall.  One of their goals is to be active with community fundraisers and events.

Members have hopes to continue to support this campaign next year in some fashion, as well as helping other local non-profits in 2021 and beyond.

Community is very important to this group of bikers, and giving back to local organizations is a top priority for these fellows and their supporters.
