“Creations in Cushing,” a community show will be held August 29 - 31, 2025, at Arts In The Barn. An opening reception will be held Friday, Aug. 29, from 5-7 p.m.; refreshments served. 

This is Arts In The Barn’s last show of the season.

“Creations in Cushing” has all kinds of media, crafts and arts, according to Karin Strong, in a news release. This is an “anything goes” show, and local talented artisans will be able to put their innovations, inventions and artwork on display for everyone to see.

The event will include jewelry, weaving, dollhouses, photography, paintings and much more. It does not have to be created in Cushing, just brought to here for the event.

Gallery hours are Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Arts In The Barn program is under the 501c3 statute for the Cushing Historical Society, and these programs benefit the Historical Society’s aims. We are a community supportive organization and have talks and presentations about the history, cultural heritage and persons of interest in our midcoast area.
