ROCKLAND — Stand-up comedian Leslie Liao will bring her performance to the Strand Theatre on Saturday, March 28, at 7:30 p.m. 

Leslie Liao’s humor is often anchored around her experiences as a single Chinese-American woman living in Los Angeles. Liao's comedy is described as a "relatable, introspective, and matter-of-fact style of humor," according to the Strand, in a news release.

She was recently selected to be a New Face of Comedy at Montreal’s prestigious Just For Laughs Comedy Festival 2023.

She can be seen in the multi-comic stand-up series Verified Stand-Up on Netflix, and has performed twice on the Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon. In addition to touring globally and headlining to sold-out crowds, Liao has opened for some of the biggest names in comedy, including Fortune Feimster and Ronny Chieng, according to the release.

"Leslie is a regular presence in the Los Angeles comedy scene, gracing the stages of iconic venues like The Comedy Store, Hollywood Improv, Laugh Factory, Dynasty Typewriter, and many more," said the release.
