'Christmas 1945: Our Men and Women are Coming Home' topic of Historical Society meeting

Warren Historical Society will meet Monday, Dec. 1, at 7 p.m., at the Brick School Community Center, 44 School Street, in Warren. The program is "Christmas 1945 - Our Men and Women are Coming Home."
Eighty years ago, Operation Magic Carpet, was bringing home over 8 million service people from World War II, and many of them made it home for Christmas.
The Wiley Family will present a program of music for the season, music of the era, and what Warren was like during that time.
Refreshments will be served.
"Come join us for a fun night," said WHS.
