ROCKLAND — In the evening of Wednesday, Nov. 3, 2021, Rockland Police responded to two separate traffic accidents involving deer in the area of Old County Road in Rockland.

“With the longer nights and colder temperatures often comes a more active (and not always smart) deer population,” said Rockland police, on their Facebook page. “Please use caution, especially in the morning and evenings, of deer in the roadway.”
