Camden-Rockport 8th boys basketball tops Hope

CAMDEN — The Camden-Rockport eighth grade boys basketball team hosted Hope for a Busline League contest Friday, Jan. 3 in Camden. 

Camden-Rockport maintained quarterly advantages of 18-16, 35-27 and 51-29 en route to a 57-37 victory. 

Scoring for Hope were Micah Fagonde (11 points), Miles Spear (three), Dominic Robert (six), Nolan Ames (five), Minh Ha (two), Alec Brown (four) and Harris Stewart (five). 

Scoring for Camden-Rockport were Liam O’Dwyer (three points), Karl Hokkanen (four), Will Duke (eight), Ryan Glaser (four), Miles Murray (two), Quincy Messer (10), August Knause (two), Owen Reynolds (11) and Hunter Bell (13). 

The next game for Hope will be Wednesday, Jan. 8 on the road against St. George. 

The next game for Camden-Rockport will be Tuesday, Jan. 7 on the road against Great Salt Bay.
