Camden-Rockport 8th boys basketball defeats Troy Howard

CAMDEN — The Camden-Rockport and Troy Howard eighth grade boys basketball teams met on the hardwood Thursday, Jan. 2 in Camden for a Busline League showdown. 

Camden-Rockport maintained quarterly advantages of 17-11, 32-25 and 40-33 en route to a 56-43 victory. 

Scoring for Camden-Rockport were Will Duke (five points), Ryan Glaser (four), Quincy Messer (21), August Knause (one), Owen Reynolds (nine), Hunter Bell (10) and Alex Todd (six). 

Scoring for Troy Howard were Ethan Abbott (12 points), Peter Lovejoy (12), Ben Osborne (eight), Eli Veilleux (three), S. Field (two) and K. Weatherington (one). 

The next game for Camden-Rockport will be Friday, Jan. 3 at home against Hope. 

The next game for Troy Howard will be Monday, Jan. 6 on the road against Searsport.
