Camden National Bank recently donated a total of $2,500 to Hospitality House and New Hope for Women in conjunction with its Midcoast Customer Appreciation Week. The donation is part of the Bank’s unique hope@home initiative which supports the vital work of shelters in our communities. Since the program’s inception, the Bank has now donated over $40,000 total to Hospitality House and New Hope for Women.

“Through hope@home, we’re raising awareness for the issue of homelessness in our communities, and we’re working to support the organizations and staff who are at the forefront of providing help,” said Greg Dufour, President & CEO of Camden National Bank, in a news release. “After our Customer Appreciation Week here in Midcoast, we also wanted to take the opportunity to thank Hospitality House and New Hope for Women for all they are doing to strengthen our community.”

“New Hope for Women relies on key donors like Camden National Bank to ensure resources are available to victims of domestic violence, dating violence and stalking. It also ensures businesses and schools are educated on how best to support victims and how to engage in healthy relationships,” said Brandy Dupper-Macy, Development Director of New Hope for Women. “We’re grateful for the support from the hope@home program because it helps us provide those in emergency situations new hope for a safer home.”

Hope@home is an ongoing philanthropic program. The Bank donates $100 to a local shelter for every new home purchase that is financed through the Bank. Over $300,000 has now been donated to over 50 shelters through hope@home. To learn more, please visit https://www.camdennational.com/hopeathome.
