Call to artists for ‘What’s Nude in Boothbay Harbor?’ show

    Boothbay Region Art Foundation and the Boothbay Harbor Region Chamber of Commerce are pleased to announce they will be opening the 4th annual “What’s Nude in Boothbay Harbor?” show on Feb. 14 at the BRAF gallery at One Townsend Ave., Boothbay Harbor.

    All artists are invited to enter one -or two-dimensional artwork in any medium. Up to two pieces per artist can be entered for a fee of $25. Entry forms are available on line at www.boothbayartists.org. The committee reserves the right to select the artwork to be displayed. You do not have to be a resident of Boothbay Harbor for this show.

    Works selected should be delivered to BRAF Saturday, Feb. 8 or Sunday, Feb. 9  11 a.m.to  4 p.m.

    This celebration of the human form was spearheaded by Patricia Royall of the BHRCC four years ago to present, through a variety of interpretations, the beauty and shape of the human form through paintings, paper work, fiber, sculpture and photography.

    The opening reception will be held on Valentine’s Day from 5-7 p.m. The Art Foundation will be open Friday through Sunday for the exhibition. Artist pick up dates are Feb. 29 and March 1 between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m.
