BELFAST — The Belfast Police Department reported the following activity Aug. 22 – Sept. 4. An arrest or summons does not imply guilt.

Aug. 22

Christopher Shaffer, 38, of Belmont, was issued a summons for operating after suspension on Route 1.

Aug. 23

Corey L. Merrill, 25, of Belfast, was issued a summons for operating without a license on Poors Mill Road.

Michael E. Ellis, 28, of Stockton Springs, was arrested for theft at Hannaford and two charges of violating conditions of release.

Sandeep Gupta, 28, of Mount Sinai, N.Y., was issued a summons for speeding 74 mph in a 55 mph zone on Route 1.

Mark R. White, 24, of Searsmont, was issued summonses for failure to provide proof of insurance, operating an unregistered vehicle (150+ days), attaching false plates and operating after suspension in Belfast's Circle K parking lot on Route 1.

Brandon M. Hurd, 20, of Swanville, was issued summonses for speeding 43 mph in a 25 mph zone on High Street and failure to register a vehicle (30-150 days).

Aug. 24

Johnny J. Johns, 54, of Hollywood, Fla., was issued a summons for operating without a license on Belmont Avenue.

Donald W. Osthoff, 22, of Stockton Springs, was arrested for possession of a useable amount of marijuana and operating under the influence on Main Street.

Aug. 25

Fouad A. Al-Matrouk, 18, of Belfast, was issued a summons for speeding 49 mph in a 35 mph zone on Searsport Avenue.

Leah I. Chambers, 18, of Frankfort, was issued a summons for failure to provide proof of insurance.

David E. Ellis Jr., 21, of Sedgwick, was issued a summons for an inspection sticker violation.

Aug. 26

Keith B. Clark, 34, of Northport, was issued a summons for an inspection sticker violation.

Aug. 27

Warren M. Harriman, 54, of Belfast, was issued a summons for failure to provide proof of insurance.

Joseph F. Benney, 48, of Monroe, was issued a summons for failure to maintain control.

Dylan, Piersiak, 21, of Needham, was issued a summons for speeding 44mph in a 25 mph zone on High Street.

Lois R. Donaghy, 34, of Belfast, was issued a summons for failure to yield to the right-of-way on Northport Avenue.

Richard Oczkowski, 39, of Bar Harbor, was issued a summons for operating to the left (no overtaking/passing).

Aug. 28

Brett A. Popin, 24, of Auburn, was issued a summons for speeding 54 mph in a 45 mph zone on Searsport Avenue.

Mark R. Bradstreet, 52, of Searsmont, was issued a summons for speeding 54 mph in a 45 mph zone on Searsport Avenue.

Aug. 29

Timothy Eggen, 40, (no city of residence listed), was arrested for disorderly conduct on Swan Lake Avenue, criminal mischief, burglary and refusing to submit to arrest or detention.

Benjamin Staples, 21, of Searsmont, was arrested for possession of schedule W drugs, assault, criminal mischief, disorderly conduct and refusing to submit to arrest or detention on Front Street.

Andrea N. Senecal, 35, of Bucksport, was issued a summons for failure to provide proof of insurance on Searsport Avenue.

Aug. 30

Todd R. Fuller, 33, of Jackson, was issued a summons for speeding 74 mph in a 45 mph zone on Poors Mill Road.

Anthony M. Littlefield, 33, of Belfast, was issued a summons for speeding 72 mph in a 45 mph zone on Poors Mill Road.

Byrlynne M. Ellis, 35, of Belfast, was issued summonses for disorderly conduct and refusing to submit to arrest or detention on High Street.

Aug. 31

Alexander B. Vincent, 47, of Searsport, was issued a summons for failure to provide proof of insurance on High Street.

Bruno Borzoni, 23, of Northport, was issued a summons for speeding 44 mph in a 35 mph zone on Swan Lake Avenue.

Sept. 2

Kristina M. Buswell, 20, of Belfast, was issued summonses for falsifying physical evidence and violating conditions of release.

Sept. 3

Benjamin R. Roussel, 36, of Nérac, France, was issued a summons for speeding 64 mph in a 35 mph zone on Searsport Avenue.

Gerald B. Jacobs, 46, of Waldo, was issued a summons for failure to stop at a stop sign on Searsport Avenue.
