Belfast councilors cut ribbon to new Tractor Supply store

BELFAST — Tractor Supply Co. opened its new Belfast store on Saturday, Sept. 26, with a ribbon cutting ceremony by the Chamber of Commerce and the attendance of the majority of the Belfast City Council. Mayor Eric Sanders assisted store manager Tressa Sullins with the task.
Also present were City Councilor Paul Dean, Councilor Mike Hurley, Chamber Director Steve Ryan, Store Manager Tressa Sullins, Councilor Brenda Bonneville, Councilor Mary Mortier and Councilor Neil Harkness.
“At Tractor Supply, we understand the value of providing essential needs like pet food, animal feed and home supplies to our customers in the Belfast community,” said Sullins. “Our team members live the same lifestyle as our customers, and we’re excited to supply them with the tools, information and resources they need to live life on their own terms.”
The company, which bills itself as a “lifestyle retailer,” provides everyday products that customers need like animal feed, pet food and supplies, propane, fencing, garden supplies, home supplies and more. Tractor Supply team members will help in-store customers find the right products for their specific needs, according to the store. Additionally, customers can use the Buy Online, Pickup in Store option to purchase products online and pick up their items in as little as one hour in the store or through contactless curbside pickup.
The store is located at 43 Belmont Ave. (Route 3) in Belfast, with regular business hours Monday-Saturday, from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.; and Sunday, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. To learn more about Tractor Supply Co., visit TractorSupply.com.
