Belfast dairy farmer Jeffrey Keene visited students at Edna Drinkwater School in Northport Tuesday, Nov. 29. The school recently received a grant funded by Maine dairy farmers to purchase a new milk cooler to replace its aging one. Keene and members of the Maine Dairy and Nutrition Council visited during lunchtime, handing out pencils and stickers and giving students an opportunity to ask Keene about dairy farming.
