SEARSPORT — Valerie Nickerson Murphy, 85, widow of William Murphy, died May 26, 2016, in Belfast. A complete obituary will be published later.
A memorial service followed by a reception will be held Friday, June 3, at 11 a.m. at the First Congregational Church, 8 Church St. in Searsport.
If desired, memorial gifts may be made in her memory to the First Congregational Church or to the Searsport Historical Society, P.O. Box 28, Searsport, ME 04974.
