ROCKLAND — Rosalie Tibbetts and Dan Skidell tied the knot on stage at the North Atlantic Blues Festival just before 10:30 a.m. Sunday morning. The two met at the Blues Fest years prior, became best friends and fell in love.
A small crowd of well-wishers, including several members of the Time Out Pub, gathered in front of the stage to take pictures and share Rosalie and Dan’s connection with the Blues Fest, as well as to honor this future endeavor.
“Today, on behalf of the Time Out Pub and its staff — who knew this day would come before they did — and the honor, and the privilege I have performed, I now declare Dan and Rosalie to be husband and wife,” said the member of the Pub who presided over the very short ceremony.
