THOMASTON — Park Street Car Wash and Ferraiolo Construction recently sponsored a car wash, nail trimming clinic and bake sale event to benefit The Thomaston Dog Park Association. It was reportedly a “fabulous success,” bringing in almost $1,300 toward the funding of the new park.

Association organizers said the addition of the recent funds brings the total amount raised so far for the park project nearly halfway to its start-up goal of $40,000.

The Thomaston Dog Park Association thanks Park Street Car Wash and Ferraiolo Construction for sponsoring the event, providing the location and generously donating their proceeds from the day. Also thanks to Yankee Clipper Pet Grooming & Supplies for hosting the professional nail trimming clinic, Athens Mediterranean Pizzeria for donating pizzas to feed the crew, all of the dedicated volunteers who provided baked goods, washed cars and kept things running smoothly, and all of the folks that turned out to help support the park.
