AUGUSTA — Maine State Prison Showrooms will hold their annual Black Friday Sale Friday, Nov. 28 through Sunday, Nov. 30.

"This is our biggest sale of the year," said Maine Department of Corrections Director of Industries Scott Reiff. "This is the time of the year we especially thank the public for their ongoing support of our manufacturing programs by offering the public a substantial discount, Black Friday to Christmas Eve Day, on all of our store merchandise."

The sale applies to all merchandise in both the Thomaston and Windham Prison Showrooms. Discounts and days vary somewhat between the showrooms.

In Thomaston, November 28-30 all merchandise is discounted 40 percent. Monday, Dec. 1 through Wednesday, Dec. 24, all merchandise is discounted 30 percent.

In Windham, November 28-30 all merchandise is discounted 30 percent. Monday, Dec. 1 through Wednesday, Dec. 24, all merchandise is discounted 25 percent.

Products include jewelry boxes, coffee tables, end tables, Deacon's benches, rocking horses, hope chests, children's toys, bar stools, cutting boards, ship models, birdhouses, bureaus, book cases, jelly cupboards, and nightstands.
