ROCKLAND — On May 4, Junior/Cadette Troop 1693 hosted this year's Daisy Tea Party with a Disney Princess Theme. Fifteen Daisies from four Knox County troops met new friends, played princess themed games, ate cucumber sandwiches, “Aurora’s Forest Berries”, pirate's booty and mini cupcakes. They also enjoyed “Mrs. Pott’s tea” and “Belle’s enchanted lemonade”. The service project for the event included making dog tug toys and cat sleeping mats for Pope Memorial Animal Shelter.

Girl Scouts of Maine builds girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place. GSME provides services and support to over 12,000 girl and adult members statewide, and operates service centers and shops in South Portland and Bangor.
