Kenneth W. Campbell, Jr., obituary
CAMDEN — Kenneth W. Campbell, Jr., “The Kid”, died unexpectedly on March 11, 2025 at the age of 53. Born in Norwalk, Connecticut on January 16, 1972, he was the son of Kenneth W. and Jo Ann (Haessig) Campbell.
Kenny was a skilled carpenter who took great pride in this work. In addition, he worked many years as a stern man on a lobster boat, and a mate on offshore fishing vessel. He loved spending time on the ocean.
Kenny was loved by many people, and will be remembered for his free spirit, kind heart, love of nature, and of course. He loved to dance.
A dog lover, Kenny’s true love and companion was Nika. Together they made many cross-country trips visiting his normal haunts.
Kenny will be missed by so many, family and friends, all of whom loved him dearly. Some of his closest friends being Shane Davis, Bert Hall, John Orlando, Toby Lawry, Obie Ostergard, Jason Turnbull, Justin Stephens and Tom DeHoff, just to name a few.
Kenny is survived by his mother, Jo Ann Simon; his step father, Ian Bruce; his sister, Kim Shattuck and her husband Lee; his half-sister, Amy Nann and her husband Ken; nieces Taylor, Becca, Louisa and Natalia and his nephew Kyle. Also, his great niece and nephew Kenzie and Kaysen.
