Elephant and Piggie’s “We Are in a Play!” comes to Watts Hall Community Arts
THOMASTON — Watts Hall Community Arts will host a special performance of Elephant & Piggie’s “We Are in a Play!” on Friday, Dec. 13, at 5:30 p.m., at Watts Hall, 174 Main Street, Thomaston.
This musical production is based on the award-winning Elephant & Piggie series by beloved children’s author Mo Willems.
"Presented by The Children’s Museum & Theatre of Maine, this lively and heartwarming show delighted crowds in Portland last winter, with its run extended due to popular demand," said Watts Hall Community Arts, in a news release. "Now, local families have the chance to experience the fun right here in Thomaston."
Follow Gerald the cautious elephant and Piggie the exuberant pig as they navigate friendship, parties, and even the “Flippy Floppy Floory” dance, all with the help of the singing Squirrelles.
"Packed with music, laughter, and plenty of surprises, Elephant & Piggie’s 'We Are in a Play!' is a joyful introduction to live theater for children and a treat for adults alike," said the release.
