Happy Wanderers to hike Beech Hill Preserve, Dec. 5
ROCKPORT —Join Coastal Mountains Land Trust and Maines Health’s Community Health program for a Happy Wanderers Hike, Thursday, Dec. 5, at 10 a.m., at Beech Hill Preserve in Rockport. All are welcome.
The group will meet at the main entrance of the preserve (316 Beech Hill Rd) for a 0.6 mile walk up the farm road. Atop the hill, the group will enjoy a fire and hot tea in the stone hut to celebrate another year of hiking together. Next year’s schedule of hikes will also be shared.

Directions: From Camden, go south on Route 1, turn right onto Beech Hill Road. Parking lot on the left in 1.6 miles.

Coastal Mountains Land Trust has worked since 1986 to permanently conserve land to benefit the natural and human communities of the western Penobscot Bay. The Land Trust has protected over 13,000 acres, offering 55 miles of trails for public recreation.
Community Health programming is offered by PenBay Medical Center’s Community Health Improvement Team and is focused on preventing and reducing chronic disease and promoting the adoption of healthy lifestyles.
