CAMDEN — Much of Slope Trail has been re-routed this year for greater sustainability, and now switchbacks up Mt. Megunticook, crossing the old ski trail multiple times. Three sections have been re-routed.

Join Trail Supervisor Erik Brooks for a hike, Saturday, Nov. 30, to celebrate completion of the project and to ask any questions about the design or construction of the new route.

This is a five-mile loop hike from the Camden Hills State Park main entrance off Route 1, also traversing Ocean Lookout. Bring a snack, water/tea and layers. Meet in the parking lot by the booth at 9 a.m.
