Peace, Justice Group of Waldo County Fall Forum to show "Where Olive Trees Weep"

BELFAST — On Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2024, at 6 p.m., the Peace & Justice Forum/Waldo County will show the film "Where Olive Trees Weep" at the Belfast Free Library.
Filmed in 2022 in the West Bank, the film follows both Palestinian and Israeli journalists, healers and activists as it offers a glimpse into life under occupation and the commitment to freedom of the Palestinian people.
From the producers of the film: "Our interconnectedness compels us to bear witness, to speak out, to act in the face of injustice....And in the midst of this struggle, let us remember to keep finding beauty in the midst of grief..."
