Flaura Flowers and Wine owner to present on French wines at Quarry Hill
CAMDEN — Aura Ellis, owner of Flaura Flowers and Wine, of Thomaston, and Justin Wardwell, owner of Bangor’s Wicked Wines, a distributor of wine, beer and cider, will be the featured speakers of Ooh La La! Vin de France: A Tasting & Pairing Event, Thursday, May 23, at 4 p.m., at the Anderson Inn at Quarry Hill.
Attendees will take a virtual trip throughout some of the well-known regions of France and experience delicious springtime classics to suit every palette, according to Quarry Hill, in a news release. A brief history of the region and winery, along with tasting notes and pairing suggestions will accompany this tasting and pairing experience.
“These fresh, light wines will help usher in the warmer weather,” said Quarry Hill.
At the end of the afternoon, an offering of wines will be available for purchase, should one choose.
