SEARSPORT — Steve A. Pomeroy, 66, of Searsport, passed away on December 24, 2022 at home with family by his side. He was born August 20, 1956, the son of Hugh and Virginia Pomeroy.

Steve enjoyed playing baseball with the guys, tipping with his son Chris. He also loved to go to Hollywood slots, hunting and junking.

He dug clams for 44 years around the Midcoast and Downeast area.  

He was predeceased by his parents; a son, Steve A. Jr.; brothers Ralph Robbins Sr., Herbert Robbins, and Hugh "Pete" Pomeroy Jr.; sisters Shirley Grant, Phyllis Talgo, Snooky DeWalt.

Steve is survived by his loving wife of 11 years, Sharon (Curtis) Pomeroy; sons Bert Pomeroy, Christopher Curtis, Dylan Pomeroy, and Steve C. Pomeroy; brother Dennis Pomeroy and wife Sheryl; grandchildren Kyndra, Brittany, Chad, Emily, Tiffany, Ryan, Steve III, and Audrey; great-grandson Malachi; stepson Chad Curtis; special nephew Greg Talgo; several nieces, nephews, and many friends too numerous to name.

A celebration of his life will be held on January 8, 2022, at 2 p.m., at Prospect Community Building on Rt. 1 in Prospect, Maine.
