ROCKLAND — Join a new 5-part Maine Humanities Council Discussion series starting in May, titled "Restorative Works." The group is being co-hosted by Restorative Justice Project Maine, and will be grounded in a reading of two compelling books: Felon Poems, by Reginald Dwayne Betts, and Becoming Ms. Burton, by Susan Burton and Cari Lynn.

The group will read and write together reflecting on justice, safety, re-entry into society, and recovery.

The discussion will be facilitated by Ellen Taylor and will meet in the Rockland Public Library's Community Room from 2 - 4 p.m., for bi-monthly Fridays starting May 20.
