Toward the end of an otherwise run-of-the-mill article about folks from out of state purchasing Maine real estate, author Kay Stephens makes the bizarre, unfounded and flat-out false suggestion that these folks are fleeing "political violence" in cities.

A statement like that with no basis in fact doesn't belong in your publication.

This administration surely does not need the help of Ms. Stephens or the PenBay Pilot to spread its malicious lies. It has proven more than capable itself.
