Muriel M. Main, obituary
CAMDEN — Muriel M. Main, 98, passed away on Friday, February 28, 2020 at the Sussman House, in Rockport.
Born in York on March 6, 1921, she was the daughter of Harry B. and Alice (Moulton) Miller. She attended school in York and married Charles Main on December 27, 1936.
Following the death of her husband in 2004, she moved to Camden live with her son, Paul Main, and his family.
In her younger years, Muriel worked for summer residents in York. She was a good cook and enjoyed crocheting afghans for her children and grandchildren. In Camden, she loved to feed the birds and watch the wildlife.
Muriel was predeceased by her husband, Charles Main; son, Paul Main; grandson, Jim Main; brother, Milan “Clint” Miller and his wife, Lillian.
Surviving is caregiver and daughter-in-law, Shirley Maine of Camden; grandchildren, Andrew Main; Sheldon Main and his wife, Kimberly Williams; Paul Main, Jr.; and Paula Robinson and her husband, Drew; and nieces, Betty Fitzsimmons, Judy Dondero and her husband, Matt of Eliot.
Private spring interment will be held in the First Parish Church Cemetery in York.
