New massage, yoga therapy office opens in Rockland

ROCKLAND — Erika Manning LMT, CMLDT, CPT, CYT has opened a new office at the Heritage Building, 30 School Street, Suite 304, in downtown Rockland.

Manning has practiced massage and yoga therapy in Maine since 1999. Her career includes over two decades of teaching weekly yoga classes in the Midcoast area. Manning also provided mentorship, and was a faculty
member of both the Yoga Teacher Training Program and Massage Therapy Program at Namaste Institute in Portland. She owned and operated Blue Crow Yoga Studio, and also worked for many years at Synergy Massage
and Bodywork in Rockland.

Along with therapeutic massage, Manning practices manual lymph drainage for general detoxification as well as post surgical swelling and upper extremity lymphedema, polarity therapy, Reiki to balance the whole
person, and yoga therapy for back pain, arthritis, stress reduction, Lyme and chronic fatigue.

Manning is a member of the Penobscot Bay Chamber of Commerce, The Associated Massage and Bodywork Professionals and the International Association of Yoga Therapists.

Her mission is to help her clients “create balance, one body at a time," according to Manning, in a news release.
