WALDOBORO — The Camden-Rockport and Medomak eighth grade boys basketball teams took to the hardwood in Waldoboro for a Busline League showdown Monday, Dec. 9. 

The contest was tied at 17 after the opening period with the second quarter ending with the visiting Schooners holding a 32-29 advantage. 

Camden-Rockport finished the third quarter up 45-40 en route to a 62-46 victory. 

Scoring for Camden-Rockport were Owen Reynolds (15 points), Liam O’Dwyer (nine), Will Duke (18), Quincy Messer (11), Alex Todd (two) and Hunter Bell (seven). 

Scoring for Medomak were Kolby Staples (three points), Fin Kelly (four), Kory Donlin (10), Aaron Reed (10), Landon Trask (eight), Sam Moody (two), Zan Nguyen (five) and Nelson Weeks (four). 

The next contest for Medomak will be Saturday, Dec. 14 at home against Vinalhaven. 

The next contest for Camden-Rockport will be Monday, Dec. 16 on the road against Lincolnville.
