Hope Elementary holding Thanksgiving food drive

HOPE — The student council of Hope Elementary School is hosting a food drive for the Thanksgiving holiday.
The school is seeking donations of non-perishable food items including pasta, rice, canned fruits, canned vegetables, soup, granola bars, crackers, cereal, boxed stuffing mix, gravy, cranberry sauce, pickles, and spaghetti sauce.
Items collected will be donated to the Coming Spring Food Pantry in Union, an organization supporting food insecure community members in Hope, Appleton, Union and South Hope.
School collection dates are Friday, Nov. 15 and Tuesday, Nov. 19.
