APPLETON — With a new parking lot routine, the Appleton Village School is asking parents when dropping off or picking up students to please either take the new crosswalk to the sidewalk where the buses are or walk on the right gravel path where the parallel parking is.

No pedestrians should cross the parking lot without using a cross walk, the school said, and asks pedestrians not to walk up the middle of the driveway. 

The school demonstrated to students Thursday, Sept. 5 parking lot and school bus safety.
