Calling all singers! The Midcoast Community Chorus is auditioning singers for its MCChorale winter 2020 semester. Auditions will be held by Steven Weston, Artistic Director, at the First Congregational Church, 55 Elm Street, Camden, Aug. 31 through Sept. 7.

Interested singers may visit the website www.mccsings.org and proceed to the link for MCChorale Auditions in order to sign up. The audition calendar will enable you to choose a date and time that is convenient as well as having information on audition preparation, expectations, and results. 

MCChorale members will need to register in person between 5:00 and 6:00 p.m.on Monday, Sept.16, at the First Congregational Church, immediately followed by a joint meet and mingle with the Midcoast Community Chorus. Registration will also be available on our website once the chorale members are chosen. Thereafter, all rehearsals will occur on Thursdays, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the same location.

The MCChorale will perform its semester repertoire in three concerts, including participation the Jan. 12, 2020, concert of the Midcoast Community Chorus.
 
MCChorale is an offshoot of Midcoast Community Chorus (MCChorus) as a response to its extensive growth with the intention to better meet the evolving needs of the singing community. MCChorus will continue its mission as an non-auditioned chorus open to all persons who want to sing in the usual two concerts a year.
