CAMDEN — Chestnut Street Baptist Church invites all children between the ages of 5 and 10 to an African-themed kids’ event called Roar Vacation Bible School.

Roar will be held from July 8 to July 12. At Roar, kids discover that God is good even when life gets wild.

Kids participate in Bible-learning activities, sing songs, play teamwork-building games, eat nutritious snacks, experience one-of-a-kind Wild Bible Adventures, collect Bible Memory Buddies to remind them of God’s love, and test out Sciency-Fun Gizmos they’ll take home and play with all summer long.

Each day concludes with a Safari Celebration, where children will have the opportunity to show what they’ve learned. Family members and friends are encouraged to join in daily for this special time at 11:35 a.m.

Registration is free, but kids at Roar VBS may contribute to a missions effort to provide nutrition packets and health checkups for moms and babies in need in Zambia, Africa.

Roar will run from 9 a.m to 12 p.m. each day.
