Thomaston Grammar recognizes Most Improved Students

THOMASTON — The Portland Sea Dogs and NEXTGEN 529 have teamed up to honor those area students who have displayed the greatest amount of improvement in their school endeavors.
In 1997, the Sea Dogs implemented the Most Improved Student Program and over the years, with the support of NEXTGEN 529, have honored thousands of Maine and New Hampshire students.
Thomaston Grammar School participates in this program and has honored twenty students for making exceptional improvement throughout this school year.
“We are proud of each of them for their marvelous accomplishments,” said Thomaston Grammar, in a news release.
Each student was awarded a complimentary ticket to a selected Sea Dogs game and will be honored on the field in a special ceremony prior to that game.
Each student’s name will appear on the Sea Dogs’ center field message board.
