Jan. 18 Busline League basketball results
The Busline League continued regular season play for middle school basketball on Friday, Jan. 18 across the Midcoast and several local schools were in action.
Below are the scores and statistics from those games as reported to our sports department.
7th Grade Boys Basketball: Medomak 50, Camden-Rockport 40
Medomak held quarterly advantages of 15-6, 23-18 and 40-26.
Scoring for Medomak were Kory Donlin (11 points), Sam Moody (10), Landon Trask (10), Zan Nguyen (nine), Aaron Reed (six), Landon Tapley (two) and Connor Benner (two).
Scoring for Camden-Rockport were Owen Reynolds (17 points), Will Duke (nine), Alexander Todd (seven), Karl Hokkanen (four), Tristan Strong (two) and Griffin Spear (one).
7th Grade Girls Basketball: Camden-Rockport 38, Medomak 36
Medomak held quarterly advantages of 10-4, 16-11 and 22-21 before ending the fourth tied at 31.
By the fourth quarter, Medomak only had four players on the court due to injuries and fouling out, compared to Camden-Rockport’s five.
Scoring for Medomak were Kyllie Blake (four points), Kaylee Kurr (two), Eliza Luce (19), Haley Puchalski (seven), Melissa Fogg (two) and Eilee Stelzer (two).
Scoring for Camden-Rockport were L. Massengale (one point), K. Peterson (two), B. Ward (nine), B. Mackey (10) and A. Johnson (12).
