PORTLAND — We are proud to announce that Work In Progress are the winners of the 2016 Maine Academy of Modern Music SLAM.

Hailing from Scarborough and Cape Elizabeth, this reggae/pop quintet features Justin Lindsay (guitar), Nathaniel Clay (saxophone), Zach Brodeur (keyboard), and brothers Josh (drums) and Justin Caiazzo (bass).

Their prize package includes $1000, sponsored by the Rusty Rocket Music Fund, along with free recording time, radio appearances, plum gigs, a tour of Gateway Mastering, and college scholarships to the Maine College of Art of up to $16,000 per year to each member of the winning band. Awesome, right?
