Wednesday Waldo Walk goes to McLellan Poor Preserve, Nov. 13
NORTHPORT — Join Coastal Mountains Land Trust for a guided hike, Wednesday, Nov. 13, at 10 a.m., along the trails of McLellan Poor Preserve in Northport.
This hike is part of the ongoing Wednesday Waldo Walk series. On these walks, Coastal Mountains Land Trust member and volunteer Bindy Pendleton showcases her favorite trails in Waldo County and provides information about the land trust’s conservation efforts in the area.

Directions: From Belfast, take Route 1 south. The preserve is 100 yards south of the Belfast/Northport town line. Parking is on the right.
Coastal Mountains Land Trust has worked since 1986 to permanently conserve land to benefit the natural and human communities of the western Penobscot Bay. The Land Trust has protected over 13,000 acres, offering 55 miles of trails for public recreation.
The Coastal Mountains Land Trust’s Waldo County Conservation Initiative seeks to establish a fund to conserve and steward land for wildlife, recreation, outdoor learning, and climate.
