Wednesday Waldo Walk to explore Sucker Brook, Oct. 23
SWANVILLE —Coastal Mountains Land Trust and Belfast Bay Watershed Coalition will lead a guided hike, Wednesday, Oct. 23, at 1 p.m., along the Sucker Brook tract at Meadow Brook Preserve in Swanville. All are welcome. Please meet hike leaders the trailhead at 1 p.m.
This walk is part of the ongoing Wednesday Waldo Walk series through Coastal Mountains Land Trust. On these walks, member and volunteer Bindy Pendleton showcases her favorite trails in Waldo County and provides information about the land trust’s conservation efforts in the area.

Coastal Mountains Land Trust has worked since 1986 to permanently conserve land to benefit the natural and human communities of the western Penobscot Bay. The Land Trust has protected over 13,000 acres, offering 55 miles of trails for public recreation.
The Coastal Mountains Land Trust’s Waldo County Conservation Initiative seeks to establish a fund to conserve and steward land for wildlife, recreation, outdoor learning, and climate.
