AUGUSTA — The Maine Principal’s Association, the governing body for the state’s high school athletics, has announced changes to the Saturday, Feb. 8 regional wrestling and cheering championship schedules due to weather conditions. 

Below are the revised schedules for the regional competitions. 

Wrestling Schedule

Class A South at Massabesic High School
Weigh-ins: 8 a.m.
Meets Begin: 9:30 a.m.

Class A North at Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School
Weigh-ins: 9 a.m.
Meets Begin: 10:15 a.m.

Class B South at Medomak Valley High School
Weigh-ins: 9 a.m.
Meets Begin: 10:15 a.m.

Class B North at Caribou High School
Weigh-ins: 11 a.m. 
Meets Begin: 12:15 p.m.

Cheerleading Schedule

Classes B and C
12:00 p.m. – 1 p.m. Registration (No coaches meeting)
12:45 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. Warm-up / Music Check / Optional Tumbling Warm-Up
1:55 p.m. National Anthem
2:00 p.m. Class B & C Competition Begins
4:30 p.m. Presentation of Awards

Classes A and D
4:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. Building Opens and Registration (No coaches meeting)
4:45 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. Warm-up / Music Check / Optional Tumbling Warm-Up
5:55 p.m. National Anthem
6:00 p.m. Classes D Competition Begins followed by Class A Competition
8:15 p.m. Presentation of Awards

Locally, Medomak Valley will compete at 4 p.m.
